Taking back control from chronic illness

Julie Holliday, my friend from the Chronic Illness Bloggers network, is offering two free online workshops this Wednesday and Sunday where she’ll share her 8 steps for taking back control from chronic illness for a more relaxed, balanced and fulfilling life. I signed up over the weekend for these workshops and thought you guys might be interested, too!

Julie Holliday of ME/CFS Self-Help Guru

Julie’s 8 steps are designed to:

  • Decrease anxiety and increase calmness
  • Help you to feel more in control and less overwhelmed
  • Practice more self-compassion and acceptance of your health challenges
  • Foster a more positive outlook and greater happiness and contentment
  • Become better equipped to deal with daily challenges

Both workshops take place at 4 p.m. UK time (11 a.m. EDT). You can register HERE for the workshops. Recordings will be available later via her Facebook page.

Below is just some of the feedback Julie has received when she’s run this event before:

During Sunday’s workshop, Julie will also discuss her upcoming group coaching program, which is starting next week. She’s going to offer a 25% discount on the program, but is increasing that to 33% off for Fed Up with Fatigue readers. The promo code for that discount is DGBFuwF33%OFF and is limited to six people.

Hope you’ll join me at Julie’s workshops!

    Hi Donna,
Is Julie’s workshops this upcoming Wednesday and Sunday the 29th? Or was it yesterday, Wednesday, the 18th and this coming Sunday, the 22nd? I am just now seeing this and went I clicked on her page to register, the dates that are mentioned there confused me.
I just need to be sure so I don’t miss it.
    Thanks.

I am new to your site and CFS/fibro diagnosis. First thank you thank you for all you do. Intelligent individuals like you encourage the rest of us to advocate for ourselves in the face of much misunderstanding of this illness. I am also undergoing testing for lyme from a well respected specialist, after the typical testing which I have since learned is flawed. I was wondering if your treatment for Lyme has been helpful with your fibro at all or not. One friend who was diagnosised with fibro found great relief but I do not want to get my hopes up or waste money. Have you come across any research regarding if treating for Lyme might be effective regardless given the overlap of issues?

        • Donna Gregory/FedUpwithFatigue.com says:

Yes, Lyme treatment has helped my fibromyalgia symptoms quite a bit. I have less pain, fewer problems with sleep, more stamina, etc. I feel better overall. I would say I’m 50% recovered at this point, although some days are still better than others. When I was diagnosed with Lyme, my Lyme specialists at the time said fibromyalgia symptoms often disappear or greatly diminish after Lyme is treated. They said my fibromyalgia was likely caused by Lyme. Hopefully that is true for you, too. I wish you well in your treatment.

  2. I’ve had upper, middle and lower back pain all of my adult life. The fatigue started 10 years ago and then came what felt like 2 broken feet. Numerous blood tests and doctor visits later, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I think the stabbing pains are the worst, the fact that my feet still hurt was the most depressing.
I started using fibromyalgia herbal remedy i purchased from Best Health Herbal Centre february this year. I only used it for a month and two weeks, my condition changed automatically, all my symptoms are gone. Am now living fibromyalgia free.
All thank to Best Health Herbal Centre, i will never stop telling the world about your good work…..To know more about Best Health Herbal Centre visit w ww .besthealthherbalcentre. com. Thanks..
