    Hi Donna:
US Pain is partnering with Quell right now with a special offering a 10.00 discount. They are also giving a donation to US Pain. I also found out they are having a bi-monthly webinar on medical marijuana that people can sign up for if interested about learning the process and navigating through it. I really like their news. Have a good weekend and good health.

  2. Donna Gulyas says

I’ve been taking Gabapentin for 20+ years for fibromyalgia and peripheral neuropathy. Gabapentin and Cymbalta are the only meds that I am taking for my Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS. If they decide to outlaw Gabapentin, what else will I be able to take. Most pain meds that I have tried over the years either give me severe respiratory distress or put me into respiratory arrest. Chalk that up to my chemical sensitivies. They shouldn’t put the Correctional System’s problems on us who are desperately sick and disabled. If they want to take Gabapentin away, then they better come up with cures for Fibromyalgia, ME/CFS and Lyme Disease first!

  3. I saw an ad for Revitive, FDA approved. Any idea of this one’s effectiveness? Cost?

  4. Simone in Alaska says

I actually think that myofascia cysts that exacerbate fibromyalgia are linked to Lyme’s, and the medical writer / researcher Devin Starlanyl seems to have come to the same conclusion, as she has this source highlighted that supports the idea, if you read the fine print: http://www.fmcmpd.org/TriggerPtBrochure.pdf

It was in fact, the treatment of Fibromyalgia & Chronic Myofascia Pain with marijuana that led me to understand it was all linked to a herxing cycle related to Lyme’s. Hashimoto’s Disease is also related, as well as arthritis and many other autoimmune problems. Ironically, many GP’s do not see the connection and persist in treating these all separately with conventional prescriptions and therapies, not looking for CAUSE. I have felt much better since starting herbal protocols for Lyme’s, and some aspects of the herxing cycle has diminished and slight energy restored, but pain intensity has not declined much, in fact has intensified. I just think I have not got all the ducks in order yet. It is definitely AN UPHILL CLIMB out of Lyme’s Disease, and can be very discouraging. The longer you have been infected, the deeper the infection goes and the more trouble it is to get the creeps under control. I have found that one cannot take one day off from treatment – one must ALWAYS be attacking them and detoxing in some fashion – because the Lyme creeps do not take any days off.
