From the article: “This year, after switching neurologists, though, her new doctor suggested one of the new CGRP inhibiting [migraine] drugs – Ajovy. … In the 39 days since starting Ajovy, she’s had but a single slight migraine and, get this, no fibro flares since then.”

OnMedica: Lyme disease more likely to affect older, wealthy white women

From the article: “These data display a predominance of female cases of certain age groups, most of whom identify as white. The reasons for this are hard to explain, but could be related to differences in health seeking behaviour between women and men and an increased exposure to tick habitats due to leisure activities in children and older people, as opposed to occupational exposure in younger adults.

5.

Prohealth: Fibromyalgia study seeking participants to complete an online survey

From the article: “Researchers Drs. Andrea Pfalzgraf and Kim Jones are looking into whether people with fibromyalgia feel invalidated or stigmatized, and if so, how that is affecting their lives. If you have fibromyalgia, you can help them by filling out their survey and sharing your experiences.”
