Now I wish conventional medicine could help treat Chronic Systemic Candida! I seem to get/have the medical conditions that fall under that label.
1. Post chronic lyme
2. Fibromyalgia
3. Chronic Systemic Candida
Maybe somehow they are tied? I wish I would have broke a bone. It gets fixed and then it’s done!
Thank you!
Mary
Hi Mary, I’m completely in agreement with you. I think your three conditions – Lyme, fibro and candida – are likely all related. Fibro is technically a syndrome, meaning it’s a collection of symptoms of unknown origin. You and I both have Lyme, which is likely the cause of our fibro symptoms, so your Lyme and fibro definitely go hand in hand together. Lyme suppresses and changes the immune system. Candida thrives when the immune system is out of balance. Hopefully you are being really diligent about taking good quality probiotics and trying to heal your gut. If you can somehow get your gut bacteria and immune system back in order, then theoretically you should start to feel lots better. You’re right that many conventional docs know next to nothing about candida. I daresay a lot of them probably think candida isn’t even a problem, but we know differently, don’t we? I’ve had my own issues w/ it over the years. Not fun!
Thank you for all the work you do to help us Fibro suffers, Donna!
