I am so discouraged regarding the news on kratom. I use it at night for neuropathy pain which can be very severe with little or no sleep without this natural pain reliever. It calms my body’s nervous system & helps me to feel fully relaxed (no “high” feeling at all). The government, through the FDA & DEA, is doing more harm than can be imagined at trying to ban this natural plant. We will see where this all goes, but big pharma & some US senators are bound to get their way. I know the American Kratom Association is working to try & stop this ban.
It is getting harder & harder for those of us who experience daily pain to find a path to a somewhat normal life. I’m thinking…will cbd oil be targeted next? I think I’m done with my rant! (smile)
Also, thank you Donna for all the hard work you do to keep us informed…in my opinion…the best fibro,
    lyme, etc. blog out here.

They’ve already targeted CBD. DEA put out a notice last year saying all CBD is illegal, even the hemp CBD oil sold online. The hemp association is fighting it. I know this sounds like I’m a conspiracy nut, but I seriously think the government/big pharma/insurance companies etc. are working together to make life as hard as possible for chronic pain sufferers. Thank you for your kind words about my blog!
