Pain News Network: DEA cutting prescription opioid supply in 2018
More bad news for opioid users. From the article: “The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration is going ahead with plans to reduce the supply of many opioid painkillers by 20 percent next year. That’s in addition to steep cuts in opioid production quotas the agency imposed in 2017.”

In a lengthy statement, FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, MD, said the agency has ‘significant concerns’ about the increasing use of kratom and its potential health risks – especially when it is used to treat opioid addiction.”
