Plaquenil is often used to treat babesia, a common co-infection of Lyme disease, and is now being considered as a potential treatment for COVID-19. I saw on CNN last night where a study out of China found plaquenil to be ineffective as a COVID-19 treatment but I’m sure researchers around the world are doing other studies to confirm that.
