Those of you who have been with me since 2015-16 know FedUpWithFatigue.com initially focused on fibromyalgia and ME/CFS (aka chronic fatigue syndrome) because those were my original conditions.
In 2016, I started covering Lyme disease, too, after I found out I have chronic Lyme disease, which is likely the underlying cause of my fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue symptoms. At the time, I had planned to grow a Lyme community much like I’ve done here on Fed Up With Fatigue with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.
However, the Lyme portion of my website never really took off because I didn’t take the time to promote Fed Up With Fatigue to my fellow Lyme warriors, and I rarely write articles that are exclusively about Lyme.
For some reason, I always felt uncomfortable sharing content that was only about Lyme disease because I knew it wasn’t relevant to the bulk of my readers who have fibromyalgia and/or chronic fatigue. And I’ve always felt that I am short changing my Lyme readers because I don’t offer you the same quality and quantity of content that my fibro readers enjoy.
As a result, the number of Fed Up With Fatigue readers who only have Lyme is very, very small. My last reader survey confirmed less than 1% of you have only Lyme disease. Another 6% of you have Lyme in conjunction with fibromyalgia and/or chronic fatigue.
In contrast, the same survey revealed 95% of you have fibromyalgia, and around 1/3 of you live with both fibro and chronic fatigue.
Because there is so much imbalance in the numbers, I’ve made the decision to split Lyme off from Fed Up With Fatigue and will start a new website, LymeDiseaseNews.com, dedicated solely to covering Lyme and its associated conditions. My hope is to have the new website up and running by the end of this year.
In the meantime, I plan to rededicate FedUpWithFatigue.com to covering fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue exclusively with the bulk of the content focusing mainly on fibro.
For my Lyme only readers, please consider joining the waitlist for LymeDiseaseNews.com by filling out the form below. You’ll receive an email as soon as LymeDiseaseNews.com has launched.
The new site will have a similar format to this one, meaning it will focus on research, treatments and news relevant to the Lyme community, including weekly news posts and quarterly research updates.
I hope those of you who live with both Lyme and fibromyalgia will stick around here at Fed Up With Fatigue. By doing so, you’ll continue to receive my weekly emails like you always have; the only difference is I will no longer be including Lyme in my weekly news posts or referencing it as much in my other blog posts.
I will let my Fed Up With Fatigue readers know when LymeDiseaseNews.com goes live, so that you can also join the email list on that site if you wish.
I’m excited about this change because it means I will finally be able to focus on putting out great content for BOTH groups!
In closing, I just want to say how grateful I am to all of you. So many of you write to tell me how much you appreciate my work here at Fed Up With Fatigue but you guys will never know how much YOU help ME! You all give me purpose and a reason to get out of the bed every morning, and I am so very grateful for that.
Sending all of you gentle hugs and low pain days,
Donna

Thank you for all you do Donna, you are a godsend to all of us that are suffering with Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome. You are truly amazing with the research you do.
I appreciate your articles and content very much. My husband has been diagnosed (finally) with both Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS (which he developed post Covid19 illness) . It’s been wonderful to get the articles and updates you regularly post. So, thank you again.
I’m sure those of your followers who have Lyme Disease will very much appreciate you dedicating a blog just to them, as well.
Again, thanks for all you do!
Thank you Donna for all you do for us. Praying for better days for all of us. God bless.you!
Thanks so much for all the hard work you put into this site. Even though I have fibromyalgia and ME, it never bothered me that there was some Lyme information, but I’m happy for you that you’re following your calling and that you have the energy to manage two websites. This website has been a wonderful resource for me! Thanks for all you do and all you give!
Donna…you are truly a gem! For those of us who have known Lyme and other tick borne illnesses, the new web site will be great since you provide such up up to date information. I will send info to the new Lyme page as I see it. Some of us also have chronic issues with Fibro and EBV etc so we will read both sites.
And Donna……YOU make it easier for many of US to get out of bed every day! Never underestimate how much you HELP!!!
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you won’t be over taxing yourself. But I get it. You’ve been a godsend to myself and so many others. Bless you for all you do!
Thank you for all your hard work Dear Donna! I SO much appreciate all the information you have gathered to help so many of us.
I wonder if you would consider featuring occasional tidbits you might come across on getting/having COVID with fibromyalgia and/or Lyme?
I know I have fallen into the first category. Thank you!

Hi Donna. I am a 77 year old male suffering with this mystery pain and fatigue syndromes for at least 3 decades. I live in Sherwood Park (adjacent to Edmonton) Alberta, Canada. I have been receiving your emails for several years now and look forward to receiving them. I thank you for your loyalty and sharing what you know. Thanks again and God bless you on journey. Dennis Henschel
so are you saying now that your main focus for this site is going to be fibromyalgia and not chronic fatigue anymore either ??
Fed Up With Fatigue is going to focus on fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.
I put my name and email on the list for the new website but I also want to still receive emails from fedupwithfatigue. I have both Lyme disease and fibromyalgia and also degenerative disc disease and osteoarthritis. Your blog has really provided me with a lot of information that I have passed on to my doctor. Thank you. I pray for God to bless you.
I think you have made a wise decission, dear Donna. I am SO cgrateful for your work!!! But I must admit, that adter learning about Lyme wich has been interesiting, it now takes too much energy to keep on reading about it.
I wish all the best to you and hope you have the power to run two sites!
I will stay her at FedUpwF – my right place, unfortunately.
Best wishes to all of you and gentle hugs for Donna ♡

Thank you for all the work you do to bring us up to date on the developments of fibromyalgia and CFS approach.
I am sure that this is not always easy for you to put together all these articles considering the way that you often feel.
You definitely deserve lots of credit for that.
You will be in my prayers.
Best regards
Lorraine
God bless you Donna. 30 yrs+ w/ ME, Fibro & chronic Lyme. So frustrating, so many alternative therapies & promising drugs, to no avail. Your info is always so helpful. Thanks again
I’’m glad to hear of your refocusing on FM, Donna. I always look forward to receiving your info, there are so few folks who really care about us.
Thank you for the wonderful work that you do in providing information regarding fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Well I do not believe I have lime I do find information interesting and have signed up for that website.
Take care and know that you are truly appreciated.
You are amazing! I know your new website will help many. I understand, though, why the split.
Hi Donna,we love you .. keep going..Jean UK.
Thank you, Donna! I’ve learned so much about Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue from you. In turn, I have disseminated what I’ve learned to others, including my doctors. For example, after reading about and taking the blood test to verify what I already knew, I shared the results with my pain management doctor. He was very glad to know about it. He said it would be a great help for others with this diagnosis as doctors would have proof to show insurance companies and for his patients to receive better treatment. I will probably never be “cured” but I feel I can live a better life the more knowledge I have. For that, I thank you!
What blood test is that? Thx!

Please explain about the blood test. Thank you.
