Dr. Jarred Younger: CFS subgroups (YouTube video, 10 minutes)

Dr. Younger from the University of Alabama at Birmingham shares early results from an ongoing chronic fatigue study, which shows there may be different types of ME/CFS. This could be big! And it also has implications for fibromyalgia since some researchers believe fibro and ME/CFS are the same condition with a different manifestation of symptoms.

Dr. Ginevra Liptan: Effective natural pain relief for fibromyalgia

Dr. Liptan, a fibromyalgia specialist who also has fibro, shares her favorite non-pharmaceutical treatments for pain. (In my opinion, Dr. Liptan’s book, “The FibroManual,” is the best fibromyalgia-related book on the market right now. It’s worth the read!)

The Independent: The most excruciating pains humans can experience

Fibromyalgia makes this U.K. list of the most painful health conditions. We could have told them that years ago, right?

Pain News Network: Women ‘catastrophize’ about pain more than men

These researchers have obviously never been around men when they have a cold or a boo-boo. Big sigh.

Still time to listen…

The Chronic Lyme Disease Summit 2 is airing interviews through June 26, all free to watch online, or you can purchase the talks and listen at your leisure. Click here for details! Monday will be REPLAY day where you can listen to any of the talks that you missed earlier in the summit. You don’t have to have Lyme to benefit from some of these lectures. For example, on Monday they had a great talk on using hemp CBD for pain. Yesterday, they had an interview with Dr. Todd Watts who discussed how parasites can cause fibro-like symptoms.

Thank you so much for posting about Dr. Younger’s research! I live in Birmingham and just completed the online survey to see if I qualify for any studies! Ten years….I’m ready for relief!

I hope you’re able to help in their research. Without a doubt, he’s doing some of the most exciting fibro research out there right now.
