Dr. Stephanie Davis: How inflammation is burning your health

When I started working with my latest Lyme/fibromyalgia doctor, he told me he believed most of my symptoms were caused by inflammation instead of the infections I’m fighting. He overhauled my treatment protocol to address inflammation, putting less emphasis on managing the symptoms of Lyme and fibro. I was skeptical, but four months later, I’m a believer in his theory. I feel better now than I have in a long time. I think he was absolutely correct in saying I would improve if I could reduce body-wide inflammation. It’s a different way to approach treatment and one worth exploring. You can read more about my protocol here
