As promised, I’ve compiled a list of the localities with clinical trial sites for IMC-1, a potentially new fibromyalgia medication that combines famciclovir, a common antiviral medication, with celecoxib, an anti-inflammatory arthritis drug with antiviral properties.

Read more about IMC-1 and the theory behind how it may work here: Is fibromyalgia caused by the herpes virus | Drug trial may answer that question

Read more about the IMC-1 trial here: About the Fortress trial

…And here: Fibromyalgia outcome research trial evaluating synergistic suppression of HSV-1 (FORTRESS)

Watch an interview with Virios CEO and chairman Greg Duncan where he discusses the trial.

I have emailed and called the listed contact info for this trial and never get a response. Is there any more updated contact info?

Not that I’m aware of. If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t receive a response either. 🙂

I’m sorry to see that Arizona doesn’t have a trial location yet. I was looking forward to applying for it but even traveling to California would be impossible.

I don’t know. I believe there is a contact email address on the trial’s ClinicalTrials.gov page, which is linked in the post. Maybe they are already full there.

I doubt it, but you could always email the company to ask. I believe there’s an email address in the ClinicalTrials.gov listing, which was linked in the post.
