This is an extremely important article to read if you’re receiving disability benefits in the U.S.! Public comment is being solicited for the next few days, and I’m assuming people should be contacting their legislators as well.
From the article: “The proposed rule change would create a fourth category: ‘Medical Improvement Likely,’ which would mandate disability reviews every two years, creating an additional 2.6 million reviews over the first 10-year period.”

From the article: “Genetics seem to be play a larger role in driving the development of fibromyalgia in patients, 50 or younger, than in those who are older and more likely to have the condition with an accompanying disorder, or secondary fibromyalgia, a study suggests.”
From the article: “The new virus – severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) – is spread by tick bites and was first identified by Chinese researchers eight years ago. It has a death rate of 30 percent, similar to diseases such as Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever, classified by the World Health Organization as having ‘epidemic potential.'”

Pain News Network: Cannabis cuts headache and migraine pain in half
From the article: “Cuttler and her colleagues found that self-reported headache severity fell by 47.3 percent and migraine severity declined by 49.6 percent. Cannabis concentrates, such as cannabis oil, produced a larger reduction in headache severity than cannabis flower.”
(Sharing since many of us with fibromyalgia and/or Lyme also suffer from chronic headaches as part of our cluster of symptoms.)
