Psychology Today: Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy for chronic pain
From the article: “[Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy] was developed to treat psychological trauma or conflict in patients with certain pain conditions – specifically, primary pain conditions such as fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, and head pain, as opposed to pain resulting from pathological somatic processes such as neuropathy, inflammation, or tumors. Product of the Week…
The Product of the Week is Elepure’s magnesium lotion! I’ve tried several brands of magnesium lotion over the years, and this one is my favorite because it’s unscented, does double duty as a body moisturizer and doesn’t sting like other magnesium lotions/sprays.
Magnesium has so many benefits for those of us with fibromyalgia. For me, it helps to reduce those all-over, flu-like body aches that are so common in those of us with fibro. I’ve also found it helpful for calming restless legs and reducing leg/foot cramps. It’s good stuff!
Caveat: Of course, everyone is different, and what works for me may or may not work for you!
