Day 1 of Amazon Prime Day is here! Today and tomorrow, I’m sharing some of the many sale items that might be useful for someone with fibromyalgia, Lyme or similar illnesses.
Not an Amazon Prime member? Check out all the benefits here!
I don’t want to overwhelm you all by sending out multiple emails each day, so be sure to revisit this list later tonight because I plan to add a few more items as I find them. I’ll mark any new additions as “newly added.” Be sure to hit the refresh button on your browser so you’re able to see the most up-to-date information.
I plan to send out one more email tomorrow, and that will be it for this year’s Prime event.
Note: Amazon sometimes assigns a time limit to each sale item so some of these deals may have already expired depending on when you’re viewing this post or they may have already sold out. I’ll be adding more deals as the evening progresses so keep checking back!
Heat therapy
Note: Wow, they’ve combined the benefits of a weighted blanket with a heating pad! I had no idea these even existed!

Pain-Reducing Supplements
Note: I’ve had multiple readers over the past 2-3 years recommend PEA supplements to me. Many of them claim PEA almost eliminates their fibro pain. I haven’t tried it yet, but I am going to at some point.
Note: Curcumin supposedly works as well as over-the-counter anti-inflammatories like aspirin and acetaminophen. I know several people who use it successfully for arthritic pain. It’s also good for reducing the body’s cytokine levels, which is what causes that achy/sore, flu-like feeling all over the body.
Note: I have a few people in my fibromyalgia Facebook group who successfully use moringa for pain reduction.
Arnica Montana Pain Relief (Arnica 100 Capsules)
Sleep & stress relief supplements
Note: Ashwagandha is supposed to be great for calming the adrenal glands and the fight/flight response, which is nearly always activated in those living with fibromyalgia.
Digestive Supplements
Fatigue-Reducing Supplements
General Supplements
Note: This is a GREAT deal especially since you only take it once a week! It’s very highly rated, too!
MAGNESIUM SUPPLEMENTS
Note: Magnesium was the first supplement I added after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and I still use it. Actually, I use multiple forms of it – both oral and topical – every day. There are so many benefits to magnesium! It improves sleep. It reduces body aches. It soothes restless legs and reduces leg/foot cramps! And some forms of magnesium also help to keep you regular if you know what I mean…

At-Home Myofascial Release
Using Myofascial Release Therapy for Fibromyalgia
Note: The CranioCradle is one of the tools recommended by Dr. Ginevra Liptan in her book, “The Fibro Manual.” Dr. Liptan is a fibromyalgia specialist who also lives with fibromyalgia.
Note: My colleague and fellow fibromyalgia warrior Andrea Wool has developed an exercise program for fibromyalgia sufferers using a foam roller like this one. You can read more about the program here.
Creams & sprays
Note: I’ve never personally used this pain cream but it sure has a lot of fans. It has 10,000+ 5-star reviews!!!
Note: You know I’m a sucker for pain-relieving creams. This one is VERY highly rated so I’m tempted to try it!
Headache & Migraine Relief
BRACES & OTHER SUPPORTS
Note: I have a cushion that’s similar to the one above for my dining room chair. I don’t think I could sit at the table in those hard chairs without it!

Squatty Potty
[NEWLY ADDED] Squatty Potty The Original Bathroom Toilet Stool, 7 Inch height, White
Note: I always thought Squatty Potties were just a gimmick until my husband made a couple of them out of wood. You wouldn’t think raising your legs up a few inches would make that much difference, but everything comes out so much easier with the Squatty Potty. It’s especially useful for constipation. Fun fact: I negotiated with my soon-to-be ex-husband for one of the Squatty Potties he made as part of our divorce settlement. Yeah, I love these little stools THAT much!
Weighted blankets
What are the benefits of weighted blankets for fibromyalgia?
Weighted Idea Cool Weighted Blanket Twin Size 15 lbs Adults (48”x78”, Grey)
Acupressure Tools
ProsourceFit Acupressure Mat and Pillow Set for Back/Neck Pain Relief and Muscle Relaxation
Note: I have several members of my fibromyalgia Facebook group who use these types of mats and swear by them. I have one, and it’s a little prickly at first but after a few minutes it does feel pretty good. I need to pull mine out of the closet and start using it again.
Compression Wear
Note: I have a similar set of these that I use for shin pain caused by an ongoing bartonella infection. Compression sleeves are one of the only things that help my shin pain and are an absolute godsend. If you’ve ever had shin pain, then you know it’s one of the most miserable types of chronic pain ever.

Thank SO much Donna. What an amazing list to keep for reference for my future needs. I didn’t open this until today but you can bet I will investigate a lot of these products. Over the last year I have purchased 5 heating pads because I need to lay on them at night for pain relief to be able to sleep and that will break them sooner or later. I may find something better in your list. That had to be so much work and it is appreciated!
I hope you have a good day.
Thanks again! Donna
Thank you, Donna! I hope you are able to find a pad that lasts.
May I also recommend Kalaya extra strength cream (Arnica) pain relief. It works great.
Thank you for the recommendation!
