Stacking the Bricks: Code RED for entrepreneurs – Senate healthcare bill will destroy us

This article is aimed at entrepreneurs, but it does a good job of breaking down some of the nuances of the U.S. Senate-proposed healthcare bill, and it’s not good for those of us with pre-existing conditions or those who receive Medicaid benefits. There’s even some bad news for people who have insurance through their employers. I know Obamacare wasn’t the answer, but this seems to be even worse. It’s clear these changes would benefit the insurance companies, not us. I would encourage all of my U.S. readers to take a look at the article and call or email your two U.S. senators to express your opposition or support. We only a few days to make our voices heard because they will vote after the July 4 holiday. Find your U.S. senators here.

HealthRising.org: Study suggests “bad energy” is core problem in fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS)

Studies suggest lactate, a bi-product of anaerobic energy metabolism, may play a role in fibromyalgia and ME/CFS.

Stat: Tests for Lyme disease miss many early cases — but a new approach could help

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control are working on a new Lyme test. It’s about time! The existing test only catches about 50 percent of Lyme cases, so if you previously tested negative, you could still have Lyme. (For more information on the issues with testing, see the article from the National Fibromyalgia Association below.)

Shameless self-promotion…

National Fibromyalgia Association: Think your doctor ruled out Lyme disease? Probably not!

The National Fibromyalgia Association recently published an article of mine on the link between fibromyalgia and Lyme disease. Many of my fellow fibro warriors believe there’s no way they have Lyme because they were tested for it, and their test came back negative. But there are major issues with the testing! You can have a negative test result and still have Lyme. In fact, it happened to me … TWICE! Read on for more information.

Regarding any possible type of health care plan to come out of Washington DC ….until our congress has to PERSONALLY adhere to ANY plan they create THEMSELVES….it will most likely be just another convoluted and ridiculously poor plan!! The only thing any plans have actually accomplished thus far…like the part D Medicare and the ACA…is to increase government jobs!! And to cost citizens more money…without even providing any care for many!! (Those that can’t afford to go to the doctor anyway…due to their high premiums and huge deductibles!!) These plans only increased jobs because they are so complicated they can’t easily be understood and followed by the average citizen…so more staff was necessary to orchestrate them! And to police them for the fines!!

Don’t we already know government can’t get heath care right?? Just look at the VA’s history for all time…if you think they can! And look at how the care there NOW borders on criminal neglect! AND HAS in other times too! It’s a national shame, along with pain care now! So how can we CHANGE the coverage and the perks our CONGRESS people receive?! And place all of them with the exact same coverage they are designing?! This would be a much more helpful bill!!! Because until we do, don’t expect anything helpful, appropriate, affordable, or worthy to come from them! They have NO VESTED INTEREST and NO CONSEQUENCES THEMSELSELVES…for whatever either side of the aisle dreams up for coverage! Their own coverage is top of the line! At our expense! So this is the core issue, as far as I’m concerned! They are too far removed from the actual reality of what they are doing! And they have no idea of how it will affect others…or obviously care…just as long as it doesn’t affect them! Let’s change that…and see what kind of plan they can come up with then!! One seriously of, for, and by…the people!

I took that this year and ended up in the hospital because it raised my heart rate and blood pressure. They had to give me nitro and aspirin so I didnt have a heart attack or stroke.

        Hi Bonnie,
Can you clarify what “that” is that caused your side-effects? Thanks!
