I really hope this weekend is more uneventful than the last one. Hubby made a surprise visit to the emergency room last Friday, and it was well into Saturday evening before I was able to bust him out of the hospital. (He’s doing fine.)

Two hours later, I was sitting on the toilet while holding the trashcan. This continued for the rest of the night and into Sunday. The doctor at the emergency clinic said I either had food poisoning or a stomach virus and gave me three bottles of pills, which I gladly shoved down my throat. Thankfully, the worst symptoms lifted by the end of the day Monday, and I was back to “fibro normal” on Tuesday.

Hubby kept telling me about his own food poisoning nightmare, which landed him in the hospital 20+ years ago for dehydration. “You just have a mild case of food poisoning,” he kept saying over and over as I tried not to smack him. 🙂 I guess that’s sort of like having a mild case of fibro…
